I love dabbling in writing but have never been as moved to write something until I was introduced to the character, Thorin Oakenshield.  I fell in love and a story grew in my mind that I had to get out and reflect on paper.   I have written my own version of the Hobbit where Thorin is now the main character and finds a new path after his visit to Rivendell.  Thorin's destiny to reclaim Erebor is now laced with love and a connection that will guide his way.  With one new character added, it knocks him completely off track but keeps him on course at the same time.  I loved this character and actor (Richard Armitage) that played him.  He deserve
